It is not often that so many careers gather together to die in one place. Like a cinematic elephant’s graveyard, “The Expendables” will act as the final resting place for several of our once great action stars.
They signed up blindly and followed their leader lemming-like over the precipice — although this may have actually saved further suffering, both for the viewers and the aging action icons who can’t seem to let go of glory days.
